17. Delegation of powers and duties

17.1The Board may delegate its powers and duties to members, committees and employees, provided that the Board may impose conditions for the delegation, may not be divested of any power or duty by virtue of the delegation and may vary or set aside any decision made under any delegation.

 

17.2A delegation must be in writing and must specify the period for which it is valid; and any limitations or conditions on the delegation.

 

17.3The Board may continue to exercise or perform a power, or function which it has delegated.

 

17.4The Board remains responsible for all actions taken under a delegation.
