19. Appointment and functions of secretary

19.1The Chief Executive Officer must appoint a secretary for:
19.1.1the Authority; and
19.1.2any committee, if the establishing authority so requires.

 

19.2If a secretary is not appointed for a committee, the members of that committee must keep a record of and report to the relevant establishing authority on their activities.

 

19.3A secretary must, with regard to the Authority or committee far which the secretary is appointed:
19.3.1prepare the agenda for every meeting;
19.3.2prepare the minutes of every meeting;
19.3.3record every resolution of such meeting and if so requested by a member, the view of that member, and keep general records, records of members, minutes, documents and files of the Authority or such committee.
