27. Composition

27.1The CETA must determine the composition of the respective Regional Committees and shall ensure the representation of major stakeholders from all provinces in the region. These should not comprise of less than the following members per province:
27.1.1three employer members;
27.1.2three trade union members;
27.1.3one member of provincial government departments;
27.1.4the Chief Executive Officer of the CETA in an ex officio capacity or his or her nominee, without vote;
27.1.5the regional manager of the CETA in an ex officio capacity, without vote;
27.1.6two members of accredited education and training providers in the province;
27.1.7such further members as may be co-opted by the Regional Committee with the approval of the CETA;
27.1.8Alternate members:

The following alternate members shall be appointed per province:

27.1.8.1Three alternate employer members;
27.1.8.2three alternate trade union members;
27.1.8.3One alternate member of provincial government departments.
