17. Code of Conduct

17.1Members of the CETA and members of any committees of the CETA must:
17.1.1Perform their functions in good faith, giving full effect to the obligations and spirit of the Act;
17.1.2Abstain from any conduct which may conflict with the interests of the CETA and must notify the CETA at the earliest opportunity practicable in the circumstances, of the nature and extent of any direct or indirect material interest which they may have in any dealings of the CETA;
17.1.3Not make improper use of any information acquired as a member of the CETA or any committee of the CETA;
17.1.4Not disclose information which is privileged or confidential to the CETA;
17.1.5Declare any conflict between their personal interests and those of the CETA;
17.1.6Declare any fiduciary interests they have relating to the functions or affairs of the CETA;
17.1.7Not abuse the resources of the CETA;
17.1.8Protect and promote the reputation and goodwill of the CETA;
17.1.9Exercise their powers for the benefit and in the interests of the CETA.
