23. Amendment of this Constitution

23.1The constitution (excluding schedules 3, 4, 5 and 6) may be amended only by a resolution of at least two-thirds (2/3) of the members present at an Annual General Meeting or a General Meeting of the Authority constituted in terms of clause 13.7 and after the approval of the Minister.

 

23.2The Chief Executive Office of the ESETA must ensure that copies of the proposed amendment, notifications for the meeting and the meeting agenda are dispatched to all members of the ESETA at least 30 days prior to the meeting at which an amendment of the constitution is to be considered.

 

23.3No amendment referred to in Section 22.1 of this Constitution shall have any force or effect until it has been approved by the Minister.

 

23.4Schedules 3, 4, 5 and 6 of this Constitution may be amended by a simple majority of the Authority.
