Multi-Party Democracy Fund

The Electoral Commission hereby gives notice in terms of Regulation 2(1) of the Regulations on Political Party Funding 2018, that a total amount available for allocation for the period 1 April 2022 until 30 June 2022 to represented political parties, from the Multi-Party Democracy Fund established in terms of the Political Party Funding Act 6 of 2018 is R5 000.00 (Five Thousand Rand).

In terms of Regulation 4(2) of the Electoral Commission Regulations on Political Party Funding Act no.6 of 2018, the Electoral Commission hereby further gives notice that a fee to defray the cost of administering and managing the Multi-Party Democracy Fund for the financial year 1 April 2022 until 31 March 2023 will be zero percent (0%) of the total amount.
