Regulations regarding the funding of political parties issued in terms of section 24(2) of the Political Party Funding Act, 2018

8. Disclosure of donations made by juristic persons and entities

(1) A juristic person or entity that makes a donation to a political party, or aggregated donations which together exceed the disclosure threshold in any financial year must make the disclosure required in terms of section 9(2) in a form substantially similar to PPR5.

 

(2) The duly authorised representative of the juristic person or entity must submit a completed form substantially similar to PPR5 within 30 days of making the donation that exceeds the disclosure threshold or from the date that the aggregate of donations exceed the threshold.

 

(3) The Commission must keep a record of the disclosures made in terms of this regulation and make them publicly available in accordance with Regulation 7.
