8.1 | Credit Accumulation and Transfer (CAT) is a process regulating the practice of accumulation of credits from one or more cognate learning programmes in an institution and transferring those credits to be recognised towards a qualification/part qualification in the same or different institution. |
8.2 | In terms of the CAT principles, any and all credits for an incomplete qualification or part-qualification may be recognised as meeting part of the requirements for another qualification or part-qualification in line with the CAT policy. |
8.3 | RPL and CAT will be implemented in terms of approved QCTO policies. |
