56G. Referral of child to relevant authorities and services

(a) The designated social worker must where it is suspected that a crime was committed in relation to a child, report the matter to a police official; and

 

(b)where applicable refer the child to—
(i)the relevant health services institution;
(ii)the relevant psycho-social service provider; or
(iii)any other suitable person for further assessment and intervention, utilising a referral form identical to Form 38E.
