(1) | In order to establish the name and address of each person whose consent for an adoption is required in terms of section 233 of the Act, the clerk of the children's court must request the relevant accredited child protection organisation or the relevant adoption social worker to provide him or her with the name and address of such persons. |
(2) | If the name or address of the person whose consent for adoption is required is not known, the relevant accredited child protection organisation or the relevant adoption social worker may employ a tracing agency or may place an advert in a newspaper in order to obtain the required details. |
